I started my legal studies as a mature student gaining First Class Honours in my Law degree after many years in finance and have good, practical business experience.

I subsequently completed the Bar Professional Training Course in 2013.

I have recently completed a Masters degree in international law obtaining an overall Distinction as well as Distinctions in every individual element of the course.

I am able to tutor in most humanities subjects but in particular, History, English and Law.

My approach is tailored to the individual student`s needs. Whether the student is seeking support for short term projects or throughout the academic year I am able to quickly build a good working relationship which facilitates tutoring and enables the student to derive the best results from our sessions.

I believe in building a good, solid basis of knowledge and understanding on which the student can develop their own thoughts and theories enabling a full, in-depth understanding of the subject.

Experience: In my previous career I was frequently responsible for the training and development of new school leavers.

As a mature student at university I mentored and helped my peers to understand the subjects being taught.

I have been tutoring for over a year with typically excellent results for my students.

I have tutored students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.


I have successfully tutored in the past both mature students and those for whom English is not their first language.
