Hello there!

My name is Daniel and I`m a music, piano and singing tutor, providing lessons in the Guildford area. Having taught now for 5 years, I love passing on my knowledge in a fun and inspiring way to help you improve.

Experience: I`ve been teaching piano to students for over five years, and have been teaching Singing to students aged 5-18 at theatre schools in Surrey and Hampshire for the past three. Passing on my passion for music to students is something that I thrive upon.

As a recent graduate of Royal Holloway University (Music, 1st Class Honours, 2020), I have an up-to-date subject knowledge that equips me to tutor academic music at both GCSE and A-level standard. This service can be provided either in-person or virtually via Zoom.

When it comes to singing and piano, I`m a huge advocate of learning to perform the styles of music that you love, whether this be popular, jazz, classical or musical theatre. As a musical director and pianist myself, my lessons aim to create well-rounded musicians that understand and enjoy the music they`re performing. My students have the option to take graded instrumental exams with ABRSM, however the focus is always on enjoying what you`re leaning and so if that isn`t the right path for you or your child then we will look at other methods of progression.

Teaching takes place at your home or online. Please note that I am currently unable to teach at my studio.
