The 80/20 rule is very important here - a few small tweaks often means substantial improvements. You won`t need many lessons to improve your grades a lot. We will emphasize subject learning, but also the many tricks-of-the-trade - essentially how to communicate best in your assignments. We will figure out quickly what you need and see how you can utilise my time the most efficiently.

Experience: I am a lecturer at Bradford University, and have 7 years` experience teaching Politics & International Relations at the Universities of Warwick and Oxford Brookes, with a range of theoretical & methodological approaches. I have supervised MA dissertations, managed funded undergraduate research, and supported many A-Level students with coursework & exams.

I have also published in world-leading politics & sociology journals, and worked for a year in the UK House of Commons (researcher/caseworker).
