Information about Mrunal
Hello! My name is Mrunal, and Im a 4th-year medical student with a degree in Immunology from Kings College London. For the past 4 years, Ive been tutoring GCSE Biology through private companies and school programmes, working with students from a wide range of academic backgrounds.
Teaching is something I genuinely love 💡;; I take pride in helping students grow in confidence, independence, and exam technique as they prepare for their first set of public exams. Alongside tutoring GCSE students, I also teach anatomy to first- and second-year medical students, which has deepened my passion for education and reinforced my career goals as an aspiring surgeon.
Availability: Please enquire, to check if I`m available, if not we can negotiate a suitable time.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: With 4 years of teaching experience, Ive learnt that no two students learn in the same way. However, there are three key things every student must master to excel: the content, understanding what the examiner wants, and exam technique. My lessons are typically one hour per subject, structured as follows: - 1520 minutes of focused teaching on key content - 30 minutes of untimed practice questions to build understanding - 20 minutes of timed practice questions to develop exam confidence This approach helps students progress step by step: first by understanding the content, then by applying it, and finally by performing under exam conditions. It may sound daunting at first, but most students quickly adapt. After just a few lessons, nervousness and self-doubt give way to confidence, clarity, and consistency.
