Hello there,

I am Dr Cynthia, and I am here to help students who are driven to success to embark on it, exceed it, and be inspired for more of it!

I am a Senior Lecturer and Program Leader in Events Management. I have been lecturing and conducting research in a number of the UK universities since 2005. Having mastered a broad spectrum of knowledge, skills and experiences, I am happy to offer these expertise to students with academic and academic related needs, be it understanding the requirements of assignments, exam preparation, forming a research proposal, dissertation supervision, module selection, applying for further study and research, and of course general academic skills such as referencing, critical analysis, and so on. If you need technical support in learning Gantt chart, Nvivo or any other analytical tools, do feel free to get in touch too.

In particular, I am very skilled and passionate in dissertation supervision, from initial idea generation to making sure a suitable and appropriate research idea manifested into the final master piece. If you don`t know where to start, are counting on the weight of your dissertation to secure and/or bump up your finial degree award, or just need to help with writing up your literature review, then you`ve found the right help!

Experience: I am a Fellow of Higher Education Academy, a Senior Lectuerer, Program Leader, Academic Link Tutor for an overseas institution, and sat on various academic committees reviewing and debating on research applications. I`ve taught at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, primarily in the fields of business and management and leisure studies including events management, tourism and hospitality management, sport management, marketing, project management, strategic management, research methods, and so on. I`ve supervised a large number of Undergraduate and Postgraduate dissertations including those of MBA`s.

I`ve also accumulated experiences in real life research, as I was a Senior Researcher at The British Red Cross Society, leading and supervising research projects and researchers.

In addition, I published journal articles, presented at international conferences, produced winning research posters, and also reviewed journal articles and book proposals for various publishers.
