Information about Alicia
I am a fully qualified teacher living and working in South East London. I have a relaxed manner and a love for learning. I have a Bachelors degree in Primary Teaching and Qualified Teaching Status and a Masters degree in Education Psychology and DBS. I tutor primary school aged children in both English and Maths. By extending what I love to do everyday at work (as a year 6 classroom teacher) to tutoring sessions, I am able to help children who need a bit more than the support they receive in class and focus on any gaps in their learning so that they can reach their full potential.
Availability: I am available on evenings and weekends
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I am a primary school teacher with three years full time classroom experience. I have worked in all primary school year groups. I currently teach in year 6 and so have a sound knowledge of the requirements of the primary curriculum and progression through the primary school years.

We met Alicia earlier this year, drawn to her fresh profile and engaged her services for our Year 6 daughter at the time. Up to date, we have been so pleased and happy with her teaching/ tutoring style of: patience, professionalism, enthusiasm and constant attention to fulfil our daughters progress. We cannot thank Alicia enough for boosting our daughters confidence and self-esteem in her subjects especially Maths!! I must also note that, we are relieved that the online lessons have been fantastic and flexible to carry on tutoring, without losing much of the essence of a one to one lesson. The great thing is observing my daughter looking forward to seeing her tutor and having her lessons!! Thank you so much Alicia.
