I have a masters degree in physics from Oxford University, and am also a qualified teacher.

I tutor maths, physics and chemistry and also have substantial experience of working with young people preparing for secondary school transfer/11+.

My approach is to gain a detailed understanding of the pupil`s needs, capabilities and aspirations, and then always to teach in a way tailored to the individual.

I know from experience that everyone is academically capable - especially at maths!

I also worked for many years as a senior accountant and business adviser both in London and the U.S. - so I have a broad perspective which can be useful to the pupil.
