I am a tutor with 6 years teaching experience from KS3 to masters level. I hold a first class undergraduate degree and PhD from Oxford University where I studied bird flight and its applications to drones. I am passionate about science and maths and I hope that I can convince you how interesting and useful they can be.


My tutorials

During the tutorials, you will dictate the content that we cover focusing on any areas you have struggled with or need to work harder on for an assignment. Whether you are preparing for exams or just trying to broaden your knowledge and basic understanding of the subject, I will be able to provide guidance and support.

From past experience, I have found that the Oxford tutorial method of teaching is particularly effective in stimulating discussion and helping my students learn. In order to explain a concept to you, I will use diagrams and analogies or whatever you find is most useful until you are confident enough to explain the concept to me. I aim to make the lessons as fun and enjoyable as possible by linking to real world examples wherever possible so that I can hopefully demonstrate how useful science and maths can be.
