Paul is a highly experienced History teacher with thirty years’ experience in teaching GCSE and A level History and has been teaching online for over six years. Paul is is friendly, supportive and will do his very best to help you whether you want just a few lessons or a regular tutor.. Paul specialises in teaching the skills of documentary analysis using sources at both GCSE and A level as well as essay skills and exam technique. Paul has also extensive experience of teaching Modern World History at GCSE with specific relevance to the Cold War; Britain 1890-1918 and the First World War. Paul`s knowledge of the First World War is so extensive that he has acted as a Battlefields guide as well as group leader on study trips. In 2014 he created a series of resources on the Cold War for the RAF Museum at Cosford. Prior to covid Paul also worked for two years as an educational assistant teaching school parties on the Severn Valley Railway.

Availability: UPDATE late Nov 2023. I have available three slots, they are 5PM on Tuesday and 7pm on MONDAY AND FRIDAY. I do have times before 5pm UK time and I am particularly interested in taking on independent and International students who are available in the day.
