Hello! My name is Mankaran and I am an English, Maths, and Science tutor, who is incredibly passionate about helping others achieve their academic goals, so let`s discuss your goals and meet them together. I am a caring and kind individual, who is here to help you reach your full potential. My teaching style is fun, focused and educational, and I am qualified to teach students from primary school age all the way up to GCSE level. I am currently studying a Bachelor`s degree in Biomedical Science.

Experience: I have 1-year tutoring experience in English language and reading.
• Tested and tracked ability using a software called `Accelerated Reader` to review students’ progress, and assess any weaknesses.
• Understood the capacity and pace of the student, and tailored lessons accordingly to their style of learning.
• Used a variety of resources, including the dictionary, to ensure familiarity with longer, more complex vocabulary.
• Approach to teaching is based on focusing on any areas of weakness, to ensure success and understanding across all topics of the subject, as well as using different methods of learning for maximum retention of information.
• Most importantly, to provide lessons which are engaging and fun for students, so that they are excited to learn.
