I have tutored students very successfully, typically improving their results by 2 grades from their predicted ones. My last student started in January and went from a predicted 3/4 to a grade 6 this summer. With each student, I consolidate and link what they know, assess and strengthen any areas of weakness, and work on examination technique.
I am very good at building students confidence, making them feel both independent about their learning and able to tackle an exam paper on their own terms. I teach exam strategy as an integral part of the process. From my years of experience, I know exactly which Maths topics to connect to support one another, and how to make the various formulas and techniques easy to remember and effective to use.
Previous students I have taught, tutored or assisted have said how much I help them understand what has seemed difficult.
As well as regular weekly 1-to-1 and online tuition, I also offer short revision courses (2 or 3 weeks) and one-off revision sessions to prepare for exams.
