I am a recent Economics graduate from University College London tutoring Maths at GCSE and Economics at GCSE, AS and A-Level. I achieved A*, A*, A* in Maths, Further Maths and Economics at A-Level and 7A*s and 3As at GCSE.

I am passionate to help students achieve their full potential by providing engaging lessons to cover exam content, alongside exam practice to make students comfortable with the exam style. I am able to tailor lessons to the students learning style as I have explored numerous learning techniques in the past – from spider diagrams to flash cards. I am also able to help students with time management to ensure that they most effectively utilise their academic year.

Experience: Over the course of last summer I was able to help a nursing student pass all of her university mathematics entrance exams. We structured lessons around past papers to ensure that we covered all of the exam content required. I was able to identify gaps in my student’s knowledge and areas where she was less confident and we concentrated on those areas more. It was a pleasure to see my student succeed in these exams and begin her nursing studies!

I have also helped a number of my peers during GCSE’s, A-Level and university grasp difficult concepts by explaining them in a very logical and simple way. I like to start with the basics and build on them to make it easier for students to understand.

Having recent experience in the university entrance process, I am also able to help students with their personal statements.
