Hi there,

I am an experienced English teacher, having worked in schools in Leeds, Bradford and York. My main area of expertise is English. I have taught English at GCSE and A-level for 5 years, and have experience of a range of exam boards. At GCSE Level, I can teach both Language and Literature. At A-Level, I am mostly proficient in Literature. I currently teach AQA and OCR specifications. I am 2i/c of a large and successful English department in an `Outstanding` school in York. I am also KS5 leader and responsible for Literacy across the curriculum. I teach across abilities, having helped students from D to C grades, but also A to A*. I also teach Media Studies at A-Level. I have a degree in Philosophy and English Literature, and a Masters in Education from the University of Manchester at First Class level.

Availability: I am available Monday evenings from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.
