Information about Jane
I am passionate about education particularly all the sciences. I want pupils to succeed and I enjoy improving their understanding of the science subjects. I am very familiar with all key stage sciences and a number of GCSE and A level specifications . I am able to operate on Zoom when the need arises.
Availability: Currently my availability is Tuesday and Wednesday . May be able to do some tutoring on Mondays and Thursdays .

Experience: Previously a Head of Science who has taught KS1 , KS2 KS3 and KS4 science subjects I keep up to date with the curriculum changes and I am knowledgeable on all exam boards science specifications. My specialist subject is Biology to KS5. I have taught in a range of schools:- comprehensive, grammar and independent and my results have always been very good. I am also an associate of Pearson so I mark GCSE Edexcel science papers.

Jane is a very experienced science tutor and fully understands the current curriculum. She helped my daughter with her GCSE science. She was very organised and made a clear plan to ensure all topics were covered in time for the exams. My daughter enjoyed her tuition sessions with Jane and found them to be extremely helpful. I have no doubt she would not have achieved such a good GCSE grade without Jane’s tuition. We will probably be returning at some point for A levels! I would highly recommend Jane.

Jane was excellent in helping me reach my target grade in A-level biology. She excels with her teaching methods and is very determined to help you reach your goals. In a matter of months I have gone from a U to a C all thanks to Jane! I definitely recommend Jane for helping you to improve your skills and confidence in biology.

Jane has been an excellent tutor for my son`s A Level Biology work and my daughter`s GCSE science (all subjects). Her experience shines through educationally and personally. In my daughter`s words, "She knows her stuff and she genuinely cares about my education." Both children are far more confident than they were, which helps my daughter so much, as she would be nervous when faced with exams.
