Hello, I was born and went to school in Bishop Auckland and my first career was as an NHS scientist. For the past 20 years I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching in schools imparting and sharing my experiences and love of science to my students. I remain totally committed to helping my students achieve their full potential and take no greater pleasure than seeing them go on to succeed in their chosen University course or career.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher with over 20 years successful classroom experience as Head of Biology in a local secondary school. I taught combined and triple science to GCSE and Biology to A level.
Since retiring 5 years ago, I have tutored many students and I continue to be an examiner for both GCSE and A level and remain very familiar with the syllabus for the major exam boards.
