I have been a teacher of science for over 10 years and absolutely love it.
Availability: Weekday afternoons and evenings, weekends if necessary.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have been teaching for 10 years at a range of differemt schools all across the country to students who are high ability reaching for the highest grades to those who try hard but struggle and those who are unmotivated.
I have a degree in biological sciences, but the last 3 year`s have seen me deliver more physics and chemistry, including to new GCSE guidelines.
I try a range of different techniques to get an idea across, from drawing on whiteboards, quizzing students, past exam papers, drafting answers on paper and pulling them apart to getting students to explain things to me.
I love all aspects of teaching, and seeing a student work hard and get a grade they deserve is one of the best feelings in the world.

Cat has to be one of the best tutors around. My daughter was struggling with her GCSE Science in Year 10/11. Her knowledge and teaching practices turned our daughter from an under confident student into an excellent achiever. We cannot thank her enough.

Cat helped my son Yann with his GCSE in Physics. She was very knowledgeable about the program and the lessons were delivered in a very constructive and efficient manner. My skn is now very confident about taking the exam. I would recommend Cat to anyone who needs tuition in Physics
