I am ambitious, enthusiastic and passionate about giving children the opportunity to learn French. I am a fluent French native speaker.
In 2016 I arrived in England to work for one year as an au pair and a French language assistant, and I was very fortunate to find myself at the School I was working for. Five years later I am now one of the busiest members of the department, and I absolutely love the work that I am doing.

Although I am just beginning my career in teaching, I have managed to gain a lot of relevant, and varied experience over my 5 years in England. I began as a language assistant where my job descri ption was to work on the oral French of the boys either in preparation for, or consolidation after, their term spent in France. I was then offered a second year where I was put in charge of all the Common Entrance (and Scholarship) French oral preparation for the Year 8 boys. On top of this, I taught French on a 1:1 basis to boys who were very weak linguists.
My role then evolved so that I became a class French teacher. I have been teaching classes in Years 4, 5 and 6, and I continue with my work on an individual basis with senior boys preparing for oral exams. It has been an extremely rewarding experience to journey with my pupils as they learn the language, and I am very proud of the success that I have had.

I am organised and hard-working, and I spend time preparing all of my lessons, so that I am covering the material set out in the various schemes of work. My teaching style is energetic and dynamic, and I have established a good rapport with the pupils in my classes. I know how hard I have had to work to learn English, and as a result, I am more sympathetic and understanding when the French language becomes slightly more complicated!

I would love to be able to teach, assist, and to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic teacher.
