My name`s Chris, I`m a graduate of the University of Leicester where I studied biological sciences and received a 2.1. I have been commended on an outstanding dissertation on the subject of regenerating damaged hearts following a heart attack. It has not been very long (relatively speaking!) since I completed my GCSEs and International Baccalaureate (A-Level Equivalent) and as such I am very familiar with the strains that come with developing your knowledge and retaining it in preparation for passing these exams.

I am also a TEFL qualified English teacher. I have a deep appreciation for the rules and formalities of English, but I also love how many ways we have in English of saying the same thing, so whether it`s technical grammar and proper pronunciation or varied vocabulary and fun idioms, my lessons help learners reach the next level in their English speaking. Ultimately, learning a language should be enjoyable, and so who better to learn with than someone like me who really enjoys the language that they speak.

I am friendly and very approachable and I believe the best way someone can learn on a 1 to 1 basis is through encouraging teaching in a relaxed environment, where it`s okay to ask questions and make mistakes.

Experience: I completed 11 GCSEs and achieved all grades A* - A including As in biology, chemistry, and physics.
I achieved my International Baccalaureate Diploma with grades A* - A (Biology, Chemistry, French A2 equivalent, Psychology, Maths, English AS equivalent).
I graduated from university in 2017 where I studied biological sciences, specialising in neurobiology and cardiovascular physiology.

I have tutored a number of students in the past of various ages at secondary school and sixth form level. My GCSEs and A-Levels are still fresh in my mind and I understand how the sciences are best learned in order to pass exams.

I also have three years of experience as a TEFL teacher, and have taught children from the ages of 8-15, as well as some adults.
