I am a qualified, effective and experienced food teacher, who has delivered food education for 8 - 18 year olds for 20 years.
I have a passion for teaching children about food, equipping children with valuable life skills and achieving excellent academic results.

I currently am a leader of food education at a large secondary school, and I also work part-time as a university lecturer of food science. I have extensive experience of GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition (AQA, OCR, WJEC), level 2 BTEC and level 3 diploma.
I have developed resource materials for primary and secondary schools, and I have previously worked as a moderator for AQA GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition.

I am able to provide support with NEA, targeted revision and exam preparation. I have a developed a thorough revision programme that fully prepares students for GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition. I have developed a strong track record of achieving excellent results, consistently helping my students to excel.

I believe that excellent results require excellent relationships, and I am able to adapt my both my resources and my teaching style to meet the needs of different learners.
