Patient, reliable, hard working and friendly, I am able to work at the pace of the learner to achieve their objectives. This may be that you’re working towards GCSE/A-level exams or perhaps a mature learner keen to learn a new language or revisit an existing one. Each of my lessons is tailored to you and your requirements and I use activities involving all language skills in my lessons - comprehension, listening, translation, speaking, grammar and writing.

I am very familiar with the AQA GCSE & A-level syllabus and am able to work alongside students, who wish to have tutoring for exams.

I launched my own tutoring company in 2014 and offer tuition to local learners as well as those further a field via Zoom. I focus on tutoring KS3, GCSE and A level students as well as teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced levels to adults in French, German and English for Speakers of Other Languages.

Experience: After graduating in French and German, I worked full time in an international company using my languages and worked my way up to being a Global Customer Care Manager for EMEA. I was in charge of a multi-lingual department and worked there for 11 years, regularly travelling to France, Switzerland, Austria and Germany using my languages.

In 2014 I set up my own tuition company, specialising in French and German tuition for adults and children. My corporate clients have included Fox and Bahlsen as well as having worked at Wycombe High School, High Wycombe taking YR12 & 13 French A-level conversation classes.

As well as running my own company, I work part time as a Bucks County Council Adult Learning Tutor (since 2014). I currently teach beginners through to advanced French and German classes to adults. I was nominated for the Bucks Adult Learning Tutor of the Year Award in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019. I have also been given the role of Language Mentor for new language tutors at Bucks Adult Learning.

I am a mother of three and also have a valid CRB certificate as well.
