If you are just starting out or returning to study after years in practice, I offer structured, compassionate academic coaching tailored to your unique journey.
I’m a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor`s in Nursing Education and Administration, a Diploma in Adult and Nursing Education, and currently taking a pause from completing my Master`s in Professional Development at the University of Cumbria. With decades of experience across diverse healthcare systems and teaching environments, I understand the real-world pressures and academic expectations that all nurses face.
My lessons blend academic tutoring with coaching-style support. Each session is tailored to your goals - whether planning assignments, developing critical thinking, improving writing, or building confidence. I help you understand what’s expected, why it matters, and how to meet the learning outcomes without losing yourself in the process.
I adapt my approach to your learning style and pace, offering a safe space to explore challenging concepts, ask questions, and build both skill and self-belief. With particular strengths in English, academic writing, and reflective practice, I aim to support you in becoming both a capable student and a compassionate nurse. you are a very new nurse finding navigating the complexities of the profession a little bit overwhelming, or a seasoned, experienced nurse, I offer tutoring, coaching, guidance and mentorship to help you meet the personal, practical, professional and academic challenges you might face.
Availability: I am available weekdays from 10:00 to 16:00 but these times can be adjusted to suit students and time zones. Evenings and weekends can be organised to suit students.

I have spent the last five years as a Staff Nurse in the NHS and am well able to appreciate, and help you meet, all the challenges that face nurses today, be these clinical, practical, academic, professional or emotional.

Patricia has been absolutely fantastic. her knowledge was incredible. She helped and guided me through everything I struggled with and more, which was a success and I passed my examination. I also feel good knowing that she is on hand with the rest of my nurse training so I have a great mentor for guidance. Thank you Patricia x

I do not know what I would have done throughout my degree without the support and knowledge Patricia has given me in our sessions. She goes above and beyond to help me achieve the best standard of work I can and provides constructive feedback that has helped me reflect on and improve my writing style.
