Information about Rosalina
I have twenty years of experience as a teacher and tutor of English language and literature at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level. I am passionate about the subject and was head of English language A-Level in a school for several years. I have also worked as a teacher trainer, mentoring and supporting people on their teacher-training journey. I have been an English examiner for over fifteen years and am passionate about helping students achieve their full potential. I am also a trained actor and use my acting experience to help students develop their communication skills, their understanding of Shakespeare and modern drama and speech writing.
Availability: I have some availability in the morning and afternoons. Please note, I am currently teaching online lessons only.

Rosalia has been an excellent tutor for our son on both English Language and English Literature, preparing him for his GCSE exams. She helped him understand the questions and how best to answer them. My son enjoyed the sessions as he got on well with her, and really valued her help in practicing past papers. We’d thoroughly recommend her to anyone looking for a tutor. Rosalina is very experienced and gentle and helped our 11 year-old gain more confidence and pick up speed with comprehension tasks in only a few sessions. She provided exciting and perfectly-pitched learning material for the lessons as well as great suggestions for literature and exercises for our daughter to complete by herself to further boost her ability with comprehension papers and creative writing tasks.
