Information about Harley
I am an enthusiastic, fully qualified teacher with a PhD in Biology and substantial experience working within an Ofsted rated `outstanding school` in the East Midlands. I currently teach and tutor Biology, Chemistry and Physics to KS3 standard, with Biology and Chemistry to KS4 and also Biology to KS5. I am also an experienced examiner for GCSE Science and AS/A2 level Biology.
My bespoke attitude to tuition aims to motivate, enthuse and boost the confidence of my pupils, offering them the chance to excel and achieve their full potential.
Availability: Available for tuition during weekday evenings and weekends. School holiday `booster sessions` are also available.

Experience: Highly experienced science teacher with substantial experience gained working within an Ofsted rated `outstanding school` in the West Bridgford area of Nottingham. Having completed a research PhD in Biological Sciences I followed my passion for education and trained to become a teacher in the East Midlands top performing academy. I am extremely experienced in providing bespoke private tuition, working with both children and adults from KS3 to undergraduate level.

Harley is great. My teenage son is a somewhat reluctant student, but has found new enthusiasm for his A Level Biology since starting regular tutor sessions with her. She is friendly and encouraging, but also insists on proper effort from the student.
I have found communication with her easy, and she is reliable.
My son hasn`t sat his exams yet, so I cannot comment on results yet but would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Harley as a biology tutor.

Harley is a really nice tutor. She has helped my Daughter in preparation with her GCSE Additional Science with the actual revision work and her confidence. She was also very helpful in emailing additional exam papers and revision guides for my daughter to use.
I would definately recommend Harley and will use her again in the future for my other children.

Brilliant. Very enthusiastic and encouraging. Harley has a wealth of knowledge and a great attitude. She is really helping my daughter to understand difficult concepts and regain her confidence. We are delighted.
