Shad

Hello! My name is Shad, and I`m a tutor currently studying Medicine at St George’s University London. I am very happy to teach anyone Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, at different levels of education. I have always loved these subjects, as I have found them highly interesting and fascinating. Therefore, I believe my strong passion for these subjects can help inject a lot of energy and value into our lessons together.

I have been teaching many of my friends about these subjects for the last few years (since 2018). There have been a countless number of times where my friends would become stuck with an idea or concept of a subject, requiring me to aid them well enough so that they can happily understand it. This has been prevalent in my educational career throughout my GCSEs and my A-Levels. Over time, this has definitely enhanced my teaching skills, which I hope you can utilise and enjoy in the future.

During my lessons, you can expect a fantastic and interactive learning experience. I will go through whatever topic or part of the content you would like to go through together. Feel free to ask questions throughout the lesson, as I am here to help you understand as best as you can, and make sure you leave with no doubt in your mind. Furthermore, I will make sure to utilise many past paper (practice) questions, as I believe this will definitely aid and boost your learning, helping concepts stick to your brain. I will also use detailed notes, revision guides, diagrams and images to further amplify your learning experience.

Moreover, I am only 20 years old, meaning that I am very young, and you can interact and communicate with me more comfortably than other tutors. Also, I completed my GCSEs only a few years ago, and my A-Levels only two; both with very high grades, especially in the subjects that I teach. Hence, I will be able to provide you with the highest quality of teaching you can buy!

Experience: Also, throughout my educational career, I have been continuously developing many concise, detailed documents that act as revision guides, for my GCSE and A-Level subjects, such as Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, and History. I have definitely put in large amounts of time and effort into making these documents. I made them by using many sources: I used my lesson notes from school, CGP revision guides, official exam board textbooks, exam questions I have come across, and other online sources. As you can see, I created my documents from a vast range of resources, and put them together into succinct, intricate sources, covering every topic and aspect of the specification. This highlights my knowledge and familiarity with the curriculums and specifications of all subjects that I teach, as I have studied them in detail and made them into concise resources over three years. Therefore, this means I am in the best position to help you to boost your grades and your knowledge of your desired subjects!

Finally, throughout my many years as a student, I have extensively studied learning techniques to understand how to best retain the information you are taught. I`ve used these techniques for my own exams and studies throughout the years, putting them into practice. I know that certain learning tactics, like active recall and spaced repetition, can help students massively increase their grades and have been proven in studies to be very effective in students’ academic accomplishments. My students not only get extra help with understanding the content on their subjects, but also tips and tricks on how they can learn efficiently and effectively.
