Teaching is something I have a passion by inspiring young individuals to achieve their true potential.

I am an experienced, enthusiastic and focused teacher who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the education and well-being of children and young people at all times. I am passionate about giving young people the best possible education in life. I am able to establish supportive relationships with students and their parents and with the aim of promoting and reinforcing a student’s independence and self-esteem. I have the ability to inspire and lead with skill & determination to make a significant difference to the life of young people.

My students have a high success rate in progressing 2+ grades at both A Level and GCSE Chemistry.

As a personal tutor, I use a range of resources such as past paper questions in order to help pupils understand difficult concepts and prepare them for examination success.
I am up to date with the latest revised GCSE & A-Level Chemistry syllabuses. I am well-resourced and familiar with specification of all the main exam boards.

Experience: I have over 20 years of experience in teaching GCSE and A level Chemistry. This has given me the ability to differentiate my teaching to suit individual student’s needs.

I meticulously plan and deliver well-structured lessons which engage and motivate pupils.
I differentiate lessons appropriately, using approaches which enable pupils to be taught effectively.
I use a variety of teaching resources. Over 15 years of experience as a private tutor.
