During summer 2017 I volunteered at Falmouth Art Gallery where I have worked inside the gallery, photographing the current exhibitions, and speaking to the community about the art work, as well as helping with events which run outside of the gallery. This experience brought me closer to the creative community in which I live as well as building my artistic confidence.
I have always been a creative person; in school I was selected to take part in an Art and Design course run by Falmouth university in which our work was displayed at Somerset House in London. Moreover, in college I won an Equality and Diversity competition for my paintings which challenged gender stereotypes and gendered objects.
I have four years of experience working in customer service as a Barista and front of house member of staff, as well as in retail for Waitrose and Partners.
