Hello! I have recently graduated from Imperial College London with a First in Biochemistry and will be completing an MPhil at Cambridge next year. Before attending university, I received 3 A*s at A-Level in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, with an average of over 98%. I achieved these grades by self-teaching various aspects of the subjects that went beyond the textbooks, in order to gain a greater understanding of the area. Science is very logical, with common themes running throughout, and I am determined to explain the concepts in a way that emphasizes these links and ultimately means that the student can reach the top of their potential. I strongly believe that success in examinations comes from a combination of hard-work and interest; I am determined to concisely explain scientific concepts to my students, as well as generating a genuine enthusiasm and passion for the subjects. Experience: I am a very experienced Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics tutor, having taught previously with JD Consultancy, Tutorful and Newman Tuition. My approach is tailored individually for each student and their ability. I work efficiently to address the main weak areas and use a combination of concise teaching and exam-style questioning to rapidly improve the student`s understanding. We will talk through the theory that underpins the subject areas and develop a deep understanding that ultimately translates into high test grades. I will regularly assess progress through testing and ensure that the student excels as quickly as possible by offering a fine-tuned tutoring service of the highest quality.
