I am a fully qualified, experienced primary school teacher and I am currently a supply teacher for primary schools across Cambridgeshire. I teach across all primary year groups. I thoroughly enjoy helping children learn and develop an understanding of the world around them. I believe that a positive learning environment that is fun and engaging must be established for a child to make progress. I encourage a growth mindset where children can talk openly about their learning and understand it`s okay to make mistakes as this is how we learn. This encourages children to take control over their own learning and promotes independence that is carried through to adulthood.

My tutoring is based on building confidence, catering sessions to the needs of the individual and working together as a team to ensure the child can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Experience: I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with 7 years of teaching experience and have taught across all year groups from reception to year 6. I obtained my teacher training qualification at Homerton College, University of Cambridge, and have a 1st Class BSc in Psychology where I studied child psychology as part of the course. I am a qualified tutor as part of the National Tutoring Programme for schools and I have previously tutored for a primary school in Cambridgeshire across a range of age groups. I also have experience in tutoring primary school aged children in preparation for SATS exams.
