I am a Registered Counselling Psychologist (HCPC Registration Number PYL039612) and a Chartered Psychologist in British Psychological Society (Membership Number: 402809) and a member of IARPP. I specialised in Relational Psychoanalytic and Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults.

I have 6 years of full time postgraduate training in my home country, Romania (including theoretical and clinical seminars, clinical practice under supervision and personal therapy).

I worked as a Psychologist and Psychotherapist for 13 years in Bucharest Romania before moving to the UK (2013).
I am currently working as a Clinical Psychologist in a private hospital in London, having patients with complex needs: Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.

In the UK, I undertook a two years of postgraduate training in Counselling Psychology for professional registration with Health and Care Professions Council. My studies consisted of training in CBT and Psychodynamic models as well as clinical practice (assessment, counselling intervention and research) under individual and group supervision.

I also have a background as a Primary School Teacher and an SEN Teacher for children and adults. I was awarded Qualified Teacher Status (QTS Reference Number 1743015) by National College for Teaching & Leadership UK.

I have experience in the education and mental health sectors in both Romania and the UK with ASD, Asperger Syndrome, ADHD, speech and language delay, emotional and social difficulties, mental health and English as a Second Language. I have always enjoyed counselling for parents and children.

Availability: I am available Monday to Friday (6-8pm) and Saturday & Sunday (all day).

Experience: I am currently working as a Counselling Psychologist, Psychotherapist and private SEN Tutor in London and Gravesend (Kent) as well as online.

I work in English and Romanian languages.

I offer support for children and adults with ASD, Asperger Syndrome, ADHD, ADD, cognitive delay, speech and language delay, emotional and social difficulties, mental health problems and English as a Second Language.

Also, I work very close to my beneficiaries` families monitoring the implementation of educational-therapeutic programs.

My professional experience includes working with clients from a wide variety of social, cultural and educational background.

I`ve got over 20 years experience in education and mental health sector.
I have been conducting individual programs for personal development of students with Special Educational Needs and counselling for their families, both in Romania and the UK.

I wrote speciality articles in English language and in Romanian language in the on line magazine "Cafe Gradiva", "Relational Salon" Column.

I assess the client`s knowledge and abilities for Early Years using the Portage Test and the National UK Curriculum for Early Years Foundation Stage and for school children against the UK Key Stages Curriculum and Pre-Key Stage 1 and 2 (P Scales) for SEN.

I work at the same time with child and parent/carer making sure the program is constantly implemented by homework between our sessions.

The teaching methods include:
- breaking down any knowledge or ability up to the level the child can perform it;
- measuring the workloads according to the child level;
- passing through all necessary steps from simple to complex in order to build up the child`s educational development;
- supporting all notions, concepts and new skills to be worked on by an adequate teaching content and material according to the child`s age and interests.
