I am passionate about English and believe that every student has the potential to succeed in this subject. I take an active approach to teaching where I encourage questioning and open discussion. I also have a wealth of resources for revision, recall and practise for KS3,4 and 5.

Availability: As it is currently the summer holidays, I am very flexible with availability so please contact me and we can work out a suitable time.

Experience: Qualified secondary school English teacher with experience tutoring primary school English, Maths and 11+ as well. I have supported students to achieve a Grade 4 at GCSE, tutored those doing retakes and successfully helped them achieve their goal of passing English Language. I also work in a grammar school and understand how to challenge students to achieve the top grades at GCSE and A Level.
I have taught AQA for GCSE English Literature and Language, I currently teach Eduqas for GCSE Literature and Language and I teach Edexcel for A Level English Literature.
