I’ve been teaching English for twelve years and it’s a job that continues to challenge and inspire me. Helping my students make progress towards their language goals is deeply rewarding, whether their aims are academic or of a more personal nature. I have a student-centred approach to teaching and always consider my students’ needs, creating courses in response to individual learners’ goals and aspirations. As well as being certified as a DELTA-level teacher, I am a British Council approved IELTS tutor.

Availability: In Brighton - mornings and afternoons during the week

Experience: I have taught English in several Asian countries as well as in the UK. I began teaching English in Bangkok where I worked for a private secondary school and private English Language school. I then spent one year in South Korea teaching in a girl’s middle school. This was followed by some time working at a private language school in Brighton where I taught general English to levels between A2 and B2. After this, I returned to Asia, this time to China where I worked for three years teaching English to university-level students. I came back to the UK two years ago, and since then have been teaching in Brighton where I have worked with all levels from pre-A1 to C2. I currently teach IELTS and CAE courses at St Giles English Language School as well as teaching online and face-to-face private lessons.
