I am a native Spanish speaker, having lived my whole life up until the age of 18 in Madrid. I studied at an international school and I am currently beginning my second year studying English Literature at the University of Edinburgh. My mother is Spanish and my father is English so I am bilingual and speak both languages fluently. I also studied both Spanish and English Literature at A Level and received an A* grade in Spanish and an A in English. I`ve lived in Edinburgh for a year now and I`m looking for English-speaking students who want to learn Spanish or Spanish students who wish to learn or improve upon their English.

Experience: I have previous experience teaching English and Spanish to both children and adults. This summer I gave Spanish lessons to two girls aged 8 and 10, from June into early September. I had 2-hour immersive lessons with them 5 days a week, speaking only Spanish with them, helping them with their reading and comprehensive skills.
I was a camp counselor at the Diverbo (Pueblo Inglés) language camp, teaching English students how to speak Spanish through one-on-one conversations, group activities and helping them to prepare presentations. The students were aged 15 to 18 and the course took place over a three week period.
I gave Spanish lessons to a 9 year old boy two years ago, helping him to improve his vocabulary and speak more confidently.
I have also done some tutoring work at my school for both languages, helping students who were struggling. At University I have given some lessons to students studying Spanish for their degree, giving essay-writing advice and helping with advanced vocabulary.
