Information about Geoff
I am a recently retired ex Head of Science from a well respected school in Cheshire, with experience in sixth form colleges and private schools too. I am an excellent communicator and my students have described me in the past as a `legend.` I work with the student to develop their understanding of the key principles which underpin Physics.
I am a keen walker and DIY enthusiast.
Availability: I am available to work with students weekdays during the day and evening and potentially at weekends.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I have worked with students of all abilities in all aspects of GCSE Science and AS and A level Physics in 11-18 schools and sixth form colleges. I have also prepared students for Oxbridge entrance examinations.

From a D to a B in a year, says it all! Geoff was brilliant at targeted learning and building up confidence. His manner is quiet but purposeful and he develops an excellent relationship with his student. I remember reading another parents review and being swayed by it, that parent was equally as enamoured as we have been. I would also like to comment on Geoff`s commitment during the lock-downs where he kept everything on course where our independently sourced maths tutor hid behind the curtains. Geoff was a great tutor who really helped me get through the AQA A level physics course, some topics I found quite complex, and since I did not do A level maths, I was originally worried this may affect my learning; however Geoff clearly explained any particular areas within the course I struggled with and aided in my understanding of the finer details that proved to be crucial for me to grasp. I highly recommend Geoff for any A level students and I am grateful for his help.
