*MATHS TEACHER AT DAME ALICE OWEN’S SCHOOL. LIMITED AVAILABILITY*
I am a Maths secondary school teacher of 10 years. Currently working at Dame Alice Owen’s School. (Note, I am unable to tutor students of DAOS).
I cover the new Edexcel GCSE and A-level specification, which not all tutors are familiar with (Grades 1-9).
Lessons take place at my residence on weekend mornings only. Rates advertised are for one to one sessions. Where possible, students are grouped together by ability/year group in which case the group rate applies which is a £15 discount per hour. Charges begin from the first lesson.
Background: I have graduated from the LSE (London School of Economics) with a Maths degree in 2008. Since then I have worked in Finance, provided private tuitions and worked as a qualified teacher in numerous schools.

Harlin is an excellent tutor who has quickly developed a good working rapport with my 12 year old son. She understands his needs and works at a pace that is suited to his ability. As Harlin is a maths teacher she is fully aware of the curriculum and different learning strategies, which gives me peace of mind. Homework is always set, which helps to keep my son on his toes! I would fully recommend her.

Ms Harlin is a fully qualified mathematics teacher and she is a maths graduate from LSE.I think this differentiates her from other teachers.She has got excellent subject knowledge and she explains all the topics in details which helps to build a strong base.The lessons are concise and logical making them really easy to retain which gives students that important confidence in their ability.For GCSE and A Levels you should choose a specialist maths teacher only.
