I am a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher with over 12 years of classroom and tutoring experience. I studied Mathematics at the London School of Economics and worked in the financial sector before moving into education, which allows me to bring both academic expertise and real-world perspective to my teaching. I currently teach at Dame Alice Owen’s School, recognised as the top state school in the country, where I help students of all abilities build confidence, achieve excellent results, and enjoy learning Maths. I also have experience teaching neurodiverse students and a strong understanding of how to adapt lessons to meet their needs, ensuring that every learner is supported and able to thrive. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, supportive, and tailored to individual needs, so that each student feels confident, motivated, and equipped to reach their full potential.

My lessons are one hour and taught online using interactive whiteboards. I am available for online tutoring between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. UK time on weekdays, as well as weekend mornings, making me well-placed to support both UK and international students. I also hold a full DBS, providing reassurance of my professionalism and suitability to work with young people. I encourage students to use a writing pad so they can share their work, which we review, correct, and build upon together. Lessons are interactive, with questioning, modelling, and tailored support based on what the student needs: consolidating current topics, revisiting past material, moving ahead of the scheme of work, or preparing for exams with past paper practice and exam technique. For Key Stage 3, I focus on building strong foundations in number and algebra before progressing to more advanced concepts. I teach Edexcel, AQA, GCSE, iGCSE, and A-Level Maths, stretching high achievers aiming for top grades or competitive fields like medicine and dentistry, while also supporting those who need to grow in confidence. Together, we will turn challenges into strengths and help you achieve your goals in maths.
