Enthusiastic and engaging Piano, Guitar and Music Theory Tutor. Whether you`re already a competent player or an absolute beginner, technique and musicianship will be at the forefront of your lessons.

I can teach in a variety of styles depending on the student and their interests. I adapt my style of teaching to suit the needs of each individual student. I firmly believe that not one approach can suit everybody as every person requires a unique type of learning. I will regularly review and adapt my teaching to bring the best out of anyone that should choose me as their tutor. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and passing on my knowledge to others. All ages and standards welcome and I have an Enhanced DBS check.

As an Actor-Musician I am uniquely placed to teach students wishing to develop this skill in their repertoire and how best to apply musical knowledge to the stage.

Lessons are given in the comfort and familiar surroundings of your own home in and around the North East area that`s a reasonable distance from North Shields.

Due to the current situation regarding Covid-19 I am only offering online lessons at this moment in time. These have proven just as effective as face to face learning and I hope to hear from you soon.

Availability: As I`m self-employed my availability regularly changes however I am happy to teach on any day of the week at any time that best fits the student.

Experience: I’ve worked as a proffessional musician, composer and music tutor for over 10 years all over the length and breadth of the UK. I’m a trained Pianist, Guitarist and Bassist and have worked on composing numerous musical theatre productions as well as working as a session recording musician.
