Hi I`m Alexander, an experienced teacher and scholar with a PhD in English Language and Literature. I was born in Germany and have taught English and German as foreign languages for 13 years as well as Literature classes at university. I particularly enjoy teaching German for beginners and intermediates; English for all levels, especially exam preparation for IELTS etc.; and Academic Writing in English. I can help students with essay writing and exam preparation for GCSE and A-Level in the Humanities, especially English and History. I am an expert in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature and History, and I have previously acted as doctoral co-supervisor. I have numerous publications on Shakespeare and Literature to my name, as well as a book on the history of the England v Germany football rivalry. I have several years of experience as a language teacher for students from Brazil and other countries, and I am bilingual in English and German.

Availability: I am available Monday to Friday and willing to travel anywhere within zones 1-2 in London for in-person tuition (also elsewhere depending on transportation links).
