I am hardworking, approachable and creative and always aim to instil a positive attitude/outlook in all students that I work with. I fully believe in creating a safe learning environment, in which students feel confident to ask any questions they may have and begin to form their own opinions about the topics we are studying.

I have taught Geography across all Key Stages and including A-Level and have a specialist interest in Human Geography. I now currently work in Higher Education at the University of Greenwich.

Having achieved A*-A`s at GCSE and A`s at A-Levels, I have a very good understanding of how to revise, write exam answers and effectively use facts and figures/examples to support my points. I have taught a variety of students, with target grades ranging from A* through to E`s and so can tailor my support to wherever you are starting from.

I am very much focused on the interests of my students, and aim to provide activities that are tailored towards an individual`s needs. I also have a full appreciation for the pressure that you can be under, particularly during exam time, and so can provide support with revision/exam techniques and calming those nerves!

Availability: Evenings from 5.30-6pm (except for Wednesdays).

Can also do weekends if needed.

Please note all first sessions are offered at half price so you can get to know if you would like to work with me and vice versa!

Experience: I have a strong academic background, specialising in Geography, with a BA(Hons) in Geography and Development Studies and an MSc in Labour, Social Movements and Development.

I completed my teacher training course, gaining `Outstanding` in 2014, and have taught many students from a wide range of abilities and backgrounds.

I have experience in the following Exam Board Specifications:
Edexcel B GCSE Geography
AQA A GCSE Geography
Edexcel AS/A2 Geography

I have also taught to the Key Stage 3 Schemes of Work at Invicta Grammar School and The Folkestone Academy.
