Information about John
I am willing to teach History at GCSE, AS and A2 levels only. I also have a qualification in teaching English as a foreign language. I`m an able communicator, a very experienced teacher and have achieved excellent results from the students I have both taught in schools and tutored privately. Above all, I love my subject and feel passionate about passing that on to young people.
Availability: Every day, any time.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I have 28 years teaching experience in both state and independent schools, as well as tutoring pupils privately. I spent 20 of those years as a Head of Department. I left teaching in 2009, was self-employed for 5 years as a motorcycle courier, then returned to teaching from September 2014 to October 2015. I have a casual job in a shop now.
