I am a highly qualified, native English speaking languages teacher with over 15 years experience ranging from primary and secondary, to adult education.

Availability: 8am-8pm Mon-Fri + Sunday

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: I specialise in teaching primary English and Cambridge English exams (IELTS, CPE,CAE, FCE). With experience teaching at some of the most popular English language schools in London and Edinburgh, I have helped numerous students achieve their required grades for Cambridge exams - especially in speaking and writing.

Qualified in English phonetics, I also have experience teaching accent reduction for non-native speakers of English who want to improve their English pronunciation.

In addition to English, I teach French to Standard/GCSE level.

My teaching style depends on my student!

Having successfully worked with students from 5-70+, I am skilled at assessing my student`s needs, and taking a personalised approach to help them learn in the way that best suits them.

As an experienced teacher I am used to being able to explain concepts in multiple ways, helping my students develop memorisation techniques and, once they have mastered a concept, getting my students to explain or teach it back to me. This way I can tell that my students have really understood.

I also find a little humour goes a long way!
