Working in schools for more than 10 years. In secondary school for almost 10 years within the inclusion team, supporting the most vulnerable students who experience high anxiety and low confidence.
Have an open university BSc Open Degree, specialising in maths. Support lots of students in school at both KS3 and KS4 in class as well as out of class 1-1 support.
Private tutored gcse maths students at higher and foundation levels for over 6 years. All my tutees have achieved higher than their predicted grades at gcse.

Amita has been such a wonderful tutor for my daughter. She was struggling in Maths and we were looking for some support through the GCSE year. She has boosted my daughter’s confidence and this was so important through this period-we had additional struggles and Amita was very understanding, supportive and flexible.
