I am a Luton based teacher of Mathematics who has been teaching for four years at Denbigh High School. I hold qualified teacher status (QTS), and have put several year 11 groups through GCSE.

My top set year 11 group, class of 2018, did very well with seven students achieving the top grade 9 and many getting a grades 7 and 8. My class of 2019, out of a class of thirty, 14 students got a grade 9, with the remainder getting and grades 8 and 7



I have worked as part of an excellent and strong maths team for the past four years, and have taught groups of varying abilities from year 7 all the way to year 11. I have knowledge of the requirements of the national curriculum at both key stage 3 and 4, and have had the opportunity to teach both the legacy (old, A* - G grade) GCSE as well as the current, tougher 9 - 1 maths GCSE.

I have been tutoring for some years, initially doing small group tuition (class of 5 students) in maths whilst completing my degree in Mathematics in 2012/2013. I have been tutoring again this past year on a one to one basis.

Availability: Weekdays in the evenings 12 pm onwards.
Weekends, 10 am onwards.

Experience: - Been a teacher maths at an outstanding Luton secondary school for four years.
