Information about Ian

I am Head of Academic PE and a qualified Physical Education teacher in an independent school. I graduated from Loughborough University with a 2:1 in Sport and Exercise Science. I am part of a successful PE department with a wide range of resources available to make learning interesting.

I am also a level 3 rugby coach and watch a wide range of sports!

Availability: Monday evenings 17:00 - 21:00

Tuesday evenings 18:30 - 21:00

Experience: My school study OCR and I am an exam marker for OCR.

I have tutored students on the Edexcel specification. And in a previous school I taught AQA with one BTEC module.

Ian replied promptly to my query on whether he could help my daughter with her P.E A-level as well as importantly stating when exactly he could tutor (the next day). We were fortunate as I haven’t found another tutor who will readily respond, is available and will also travel to your home! My daughter is pleased that Ian has explained concepts in a way that she has finally be able to understand them. I can hear from their conversations that her confidence in the subject has grown. I would definitely recommend him as a tutor.
