Nancy

Hi! My name is Nancy and I am natively from India. At present, I am in Germany, Nürnberg. I am a postgraduate in the field of Dietetics and have nearly 7 years of work experience.I am fluent in English and Hindi and I also know German. I have been teaching at various levels for past 5 years, and am sure that you would find me engaging.

Outside work, I like to stay fit by running and participating in yoga. I also enjoy travelling and meeting new people, and trying local dishes. I like to read books related food and nutrition while travelling. I also enjoy cooking and developing new recipes. It adds on to my skill set of being a nutritionist and further I use those recipes for my clients. And this drives me to teach interestingly. I believe that the students need to trust their instructor and I try to create that environment. Also, every student is different and therefore I have a different approach for each one.

Availability: I am comfortable teaching through classroom training, lectures, seminars, group coaching and distant learning over Skype. I expertise in the field of Nutrition. Days and timings can be adjusted as per students need.

Experience: I have taught Post Graduate students for over 2 years on subjects related to Nutrition. Apart from that I have taught Under Graduate, Higher Secondary and Secondary students on various subjects like Home Science, Biology, Chemistry, etc. I am NET certified teacher (NET is a certification in India for teachers in specific areas like Nutrition)

I started my teaching career as a tutor for higher secondary school students along with graduating in the field of Nutrition. That is when I realized my interest towards teaching. After completing my post-graduation in 2012, I joined a college as an assistant lecturer for Food Science and Nutrition (FSN) Department. I worked there for a span of 2 years. I have taught nutrition and science courses to UG and PG students.
