Information about Robert
I have been teaching A Level`s to 16-18 year olds in a Further Education College for over 23 years. I have a Sociology degree from Nottingham University and after completing a PGCE (FE) at Cardiff University, I have worked mainly as a Lecturer in Sociology. Over time I have diversified into teaching A Level Religious Studies and A Level Philosophy, and I am now Head of Religious Studies and Philosophy and manage and teach all the units. I have been an examiner for AQA A Level Sociology, AQA A Level Philosophy and WJEC A Level Religious Studies. I have also taught and marked the AQA Extended Project Qualification.

Experience: I have worked as a Lecturer teaching A Levels in the context of an Further Education College. I have been Head of Department for all the main three subjects I have taught, responsible for the management, planning and delivery of the teaching of these courses.
A Level Sociology: for over 20 years, I have taught AQA Sociology including units on Education, Families and Households, Sociological Methods, Sociology Theory, Beliefs, Crime and Deviance. I have been an examiner with AQA, marking Paper 1: Education/Methods/Theory/Methods in Context
A Level Religious Studies: I am currently the Head of Department for Religious Studies, responsible for teaching all the units in the WJEC specification and manage the quality and provision of the course. I have taught Component 1: Christianity; Component 2: Philosophy of Religion; Component 3: Ethics. I have been an examiner with WJEC, marking Components 2 & 3.
A Level Philosophy: I am currently the Head of Department for Philosophy, responsible for teaching all the units in the AQA specification and manage the quality and provision of the course. I teach all the units: Unit 1: Epistemology; Unit 2: Moral Philosophy; Unit 3: Metaphysics of God; Unit 4: Metaphysics of Mind. I have been an examiner with AQA, marking Metaphysics of Mind in Paper 2.
I am also experienced in teaching and marking the AQA Extended Project qualification.
