Information about David
I have been teaching maths and tutoring for over 10 years. I have taught a wide range of levels and abilities in schools all over Essex. I am able to tutor KS3, GCSE and A level.
When tutoring, I find it very important to allow the student to feel confident in their work using lots of praise. It is important that the student feels they can get something wrong, so long as they tried. This helps me to find out any misconceptions they might have, so I can re-teach any topics they may need refreshing.

Experience: I have taught all abilities in schools from year 7 to GCSE. I have also tutored several students of varied abilities including GCSE and A level. Since moving house 3 years ago I have worked in several schools supply teaching and have seen several different approaches to Maths teaching which I incorporate into my tutoring.
I am always learning new skills. For example, for two terms last year I taught year 7 and 8 science along with Maths.

Mr. David was an excellent tutor; he was patient and clearly explained concepts to my daughter. He was also flexible, ensuring that he finished his explanation even if it ran over time. She found him most helpful with the pure maths component, but struggled a bit with the Statistics. Otherwise, he was good, and we highly recommend him.

David is an excellent maths teacher. He is very patient and explains things clearly and in a way that makes difficult maths concepts easy to understand. He takes his time to cover all areas that need revision and reinforcement. I can highly recommend David to anyone looking for someone to help then with maths.
