I am a classically trained actress with extensive professional experience in theatre, television and film. I write and devise my own theatre and write and perform spoken word poetry across London and the UK, as well as organising poetry and spoken word showcases. I am keen to help students unlock their imaginations and untangle the language of daunting classical texts, with a view to achieving their potential in drama and English exams. I also specialise in drama school audition technique, and acting technique for practical drama examinations. I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Acting from the Manchester School of Theatre, and whilst I work primarily as an actress, I am passionate about nurturing artistic potential in young people and ensuring their creative juices aren`t stifled by confusing texts or high pressure situations.

Availability: I have very flexible availability throughout the week and weekends - please enquire for specific times.

Experience: I have extensive experience working with young people as a drama/acting tutor and drama workshop leader. I have four years` experience leading drama workshops within primary schools and as part of outreach programmes in schools with limited access to extra curricular and arts activities. For the past couple of years I have also taught one to one as students prepare for academic drama or LAMDA exams, for drama school auditions, or seek to generally improve their confidence and mastery of physical and vocal acting technique. I am well aware of the pressure faced by pupils in all these scenarios, and hope to make sure the process is as easy and engaging as it can be.
