I have also worked with children on line on a more general level to increase confidence and resilience with activities centred on PSHE type themes. I firmly believe that each child needs to believe in themselves, be willing to try new things and feel comfortable in the learning environment. Through work on identifying emotions, dealing with challenging emotions and appropriately expressing these, coping with anxiety children are more able to engage in lessons. The individual tutoring sessions allow for much more focus and attention than is available in the typical classroom but I can help develop a confident learner that is better able to participate and learn in school.
