I am an experienced English teacher with over 22 years of teaching experience in schools and universities in the UK, abroad and as a private tutor. Throughout my career I have developed a strong understanding of individual students` cultural and educational needs.

I tutor all ages and levels:

- ESOL to foreign students
- IELTS
- GCSE English
- literacy skills
- 11+ English and Verbal Reasoning

I also teach Academic English and general English skills.

I am Diploma TESOL qualified and have a Modern Languages degree in French and German.

My teaching ethos aims to develop language skills in a relaxed way with emphasis on gaining confidence in English. Students are given continual guidance, support and feedback.

Lessons are varied and interesting, taught in a fun, relaxing way. Students participate in different activities to enhance their individual learning needs.
