Information about Paul
I teach Maths up to GCSE. Maths teaching is my first love so I am keen to do more and help more students achieve their best in an area many find a challenge but I enjoy!
Availability: I am available most week nights and certain times at the weekend.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have taught Maths for 28 years and always achieved great results for my pupils, both KS 3 and GCSE particularly with the old C/D borderline and now 4/5 and 5/6 thresholds. I favour traditional maths teaching methods and really enjoy working 1 to 1, explaining why methods work and the theory behind it as that helps understanding and so retention. However, when we get close to exams I will use shortcuts to ensure success!
